Introduction

Kennedy Schultz, Ph.D., is a warm, passionate, and professional thought leader in intercultural learning and development (L&D). She leverages extensive knowledge of intercultural dynamics and skillfully applies it to help organizations, educational institutions, and individuals bridge differences. Her expertise lies in understanding how cultural concepts—such as individualistic versus collectivist mindsets, emotional expression versus emotional restraint, and direct versus indirect communication styles—shape collaboration and communication.

Academic Foundations & Professional Journey

Kennedy holds a PhD in French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where her research explored how history and lived experiences shaped cultural identity in the works of French-speaking authors from around the globe. Kennedy leverages this deep understanding of identity formation to help others explore how perspectives are shaped by context and experience.

This insight became the foundation for her first business, Explor-A-World LLC, which focused on developing world language and culture curricula in six languages. Lessons incorporated interactive activities for young learners, as well as implementation training for educators.

In 2020, she founded KMS Intercultural Education, now known as Tessera Bridge, to partner with organizations, educational institutions, and individuals to create learning experiences that are both relevant and meaningful, honoring the diverse needs and perspectives of all participants.

Her deep and multifaceted expertise spanning over 20 years includes teaching language at primary, secondary, and college levels, designing curricula for corporate leadership development, and managing professional learning for teachers within school systems. Kennedy possesses a strategic, end-to-end understanding of learning and development, from curriculum creation and interactive delivery to accreditation and measuring long-term impact, making her a trusted leader in 360-degree learning.
